Color, Pattern, Texture: Golden, yellow, to medium brown color; over time color tends to darken. It has a medium to coarse texture, with open pores and an interlocked grain.  

Common Uses and Applications: Iroko can be used for your interior and exterior projects; such as veneer, flooring, furniture, cabinetry, boatbuilding, turned items, and other small specialty wood projects.

Working Properties: Generally easy to work with, with the exception of its interlocked grain; it is often used as a substitute of Teak hardwood. During surfacing operations some tearout may be caused. Sometime deposits of calcium carbonate are present, which may have an effect on cutters. Iroko most often glues well and has a great finished
