Imported Lumber
At Bennett Crone we provide you with a wide variety of species of exotic hardwood lumber from Africa, Central and South America, Europe and Asia. All lumber goes through an eight point inspection to assure it meets all specifications and regulations. Imported hardwoods have been kiln-dried for appropriate conditioning and moisture content. After final inspection, the grade of Select & Better has been separated from other grades to maintain grade integrity.
Softwoods
America is recognized worldwide as a sustainable source of top quality softwood lumber. Species such as Douglas Fir, Pine, Hemlock and Spruce are renowned for their strength, flexibility, versatility and beauty! In a home, softwoods primarily are used as structural lumber such as 2x4s and 2x6s, with limited decorative applications. Woods such as white pine do break those rules and are treated in the lumber industry similar to hardwoods.
