Domestic Plywood
Domestic Plywood is a combination of a natural veneer surface with a durable core. Plywood provides the strength of lumber, but with greater efficiency and versatility. Maderas de Importación has a large inventory line of domestic hardwood panels. They are produced from the finest hardwood veneers and cores available in the market. We can provide shipment and a wide range of panel sizes, thickness, species, and cores.
Imported Plywood
To complete our full line of Plywood, we offer you with Import hardwood panels in addition to our domestic line. MDF
Our MDF product line offers a variety of smooth hard surfaces, exceptional machining, plus clean, sharp edges for cutting and drilling applications. MDF is generally denser than plywood. It is made up of separated fibres, but can be used as a building material similar in application to plywood. It is stronger and much denser than particle board.
Particle Board
At Maderas de Importación we provide you with some of the most popular machinable particle board panels on the market today. Our panels are of a premium-quality, mat-formed, multilayer wood particle board and more. In addition our selection offers particle board panels that have been designed for the demanding laminating, edge machining applications, excellent dimensional stability, and a tight uniform core with machineable edges for today’s precision woodworking industry.
Veneers
Veneers are available in a variety of wood species, both domestic and imported. Composite panels, like particleboard and MDF, are the preferred substrate for veneers due to their superior surface qualities of being flat, smooth, uniform, dense, free of knots, and its grain patterns. In addition, their dimensional stability, strength properties and cost advantages further increase the advantages of using these substrates.
